Our Family Clients, living in Constantia are seeking a new au pair for their 2 children - a girl of 13 years and a boy of 9 years.
Pick up from their schools at different times and take them to various extra- murals and then home to supervise their homework. Spend quality time with them doing fun things that are educational as well. When there is time an outing is most welcome. Make sure all is packed and organised for the next day.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 2pm to 6pm and on Friday from 1pm to 6pm
MUST HAVES: Appropriate childcare experience with references, drivers license and reliable car.
SALARY: R4100 to R4400 monthly negotiable plus petrol usage whilst on the job if using your car.
AU PAIR FULL DAY FOR A BABY GIRL – NEWLANDS
Our Family Clients have a darling baby girl of 10 month old. They require the services of an Au Pair for a full day 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday as both Mom and Dad work very hard.
Keep her in her routine, play with her, bath her , feed her - in short you will be doing all of her full care whilst the parents aren’t there from her personal care to her food and bottles to keeping her room in order as well as her clothing.
Mom and Dad are very conscious of her future education as well as right now and would like play activities to be as stimulating and engaging as possible. They live right next to a park and would love her to be out there in the sunshine etc. Speaking, singing and reading to her is very important. They don’t approve of TV watching!
Other duties will be shopping, or assistance with organisational duties and admin that they don’t have time for.

Mom likes you to engage with her boys on a one on one where they are treated as individuals and not 'children'. So you need to be imaginative and love engaging with people as well as having an education in children related fields.
You should have a plot and plan for the week with outdoor play as well as indoor activities including getting them into the kitchen!
Take them on outings like Kirstenbosch, Library, Aquarium, Museum as well as on play-dates with class-mates and family friends.
Holiday times will be filled with activities and outings preferably with linking themes.

The au pair will oversee but not be required to cook dinner. Children need to be bathed and have their bags and any requirements needed for the next day all ready and sorted before dinner.
